Our Story
As a mom, I know how meaningful it is to find a place where your child can play, explore, and learn—and where you can feel comfortable, welcomed, and connected too.
That’s why I created Little Minds: a warm and inviting space where children learn through play, especially imaginative and pretend play. These experiences encourage creativity, communication, independence, and social development while children simply enjoy being kids.
My background in early childhood development and sensory play inspires everything we do. As a bilingual space, Little Minds also gives children natural opportunities to hear and enjoy Spanish through play.
More than an indoor play space, Little Minds is a community where families can connect, make memories, and enjoy the little years together.
Angélica Pineda
Little Minds grew from Angélica’s own experience as a mom and her belief that some of the most meaningful learning happens when children are given the freedom to explore, imagine, create, and simply be children.
Her approach is inspired by Montessori principles, encouraging independence, hands-on discovery, purposeful play, and respect for each child’s individual pace. Rather than turning childhood into a classroom, Little Minds creates opportunities for children to learn naturally through the experiences they enjoy most.
Angélica’s academic background in Honduras includes psychology and child development, experiences that continue to shape her interest in early learning, sensory exploration, and positive social development.
As both a mom and the founder of Little Minds, her goal is simple: to create a welcoming place where children can play freely, parents can feel comfortable, and families can enjoy these important early years together.

Little Minds welcomes families from different cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences. We want children to grow up curious about one another, comfortable with differences, and confident sharing space with people who may speak, play, or experience the world in different ways.
We believe kindness, respect, and connection begin early. Through play and everyday interactions, children have opportunities to practice cooperation, build friendships, and discover what it means to be part of a community.
